The first unit of the year has provided multiple ways of representing
adding and subtracting Integers. We have experienced four different
methods that help us understand Integers a little bit better. Now it's
time to discuss your thoughts...
What
method (number lines, counters, rules, or mental math) works best for
you? You may even think that more than one method is best given the
situation. What makes this method(s) successful for you when you add
and subtract Integers? Give a real world example that uses this
method.
